Obama on Abortion

I have always been against abortion. In high school, I did my persuasive speech with the posters of aborted babies in garbage cans-"Ban Abortion!". In college, I wrote another essay to be sent to our local newspaper. My English teacher gave me a "D" and I was unable to take the final. It took a visit to the Dean of TJC in Tulsa to be given a better grade and a chance to take my final. I stated to the Dean of the school, that my opinion of "choosing life for the un-born" should have no negative impact on my grades. My teacher had her opinion and I had mine. The Dean agreed, and I was allowed to take the final. That moment in time, has shown me that if someone doesn't speak-up...who will? I could of stayed quiet, changed my topic and never protested, but this is too important! Signs of the times we live in Ladies. Make your vote count and speak up!!

Oh may. This is so sad. I wish I could hold them.

It is time for a different attitude. I am stunned. Speechless. Completely without speech.

I want to hold that child and comfort all of them.

I showed this to my 14 year old daughter. She asked why they did this. I sat for a long time trying to come up with an answer.

Do you have an answer? Anyone? m

Mechelle- I believe that people would want to pretend that a child should not live if the mother chooses not to carry it to full term or accept a new born into their lives. They pretend that this baby is not real or human. Some pretend that a unborn child has no pain responses and cannot feel anything. I am one of the lucky kids that was given life-even though my unwed mother was homeless and had no one to depend on. She chose life for me-and I will fight for others to live also. Even though I was an inconvenience to my young mother-she still made the right choice and then died. She was courageous in my eyes! Her temple work has been done and she can move on...that was the least I could give back.

this was so sad knowing that I had a 26 weeker survive. Doctors and parents do this, down syndrome baby. They play gods by deciding this child is not worthy enough to live. medical cost come in play and then IDIOTS who are not responsible to use birth control or if bIRTH control was used and failed. Then they just toss a LIFE aside. because it is an inconvenience! DOCTORS who allow and enable this. I am sure if the media got a hold of these things that nurses saw there would be a HUGE OUTRAGE!!
My rage comes from why on earth would women wait this LONG! why not give the child up for adoption?? There is the day after pill. I would be more in favor of that pill than killing a fetus! I'm anti abortion completely but if women are going to do this, then give them a "humane" way. so they forget to take their pill, after they have sex, they have the choice to take this pill. They should charge AN ARM AND A LEG, for it. ABORTIONS should be costly! Heck, I think getting liposuction costs more than an abortion.

You must have read Russell M. Nelson's recent article about abortion in The Ensign, right? That was so good. I feel that the murderous practice of abortion is one of the major things that is destroying our country and the spiritual quality of life in the communities in which we live. It is such a tragedy. I wish with all of my heart that Roe v. Wade would be overturned ASAP. People should never have been given the constitutional right to end human life like that; it's a travesty.

I'm typing this while balling my eyes out. I just can't grasp the concept of abortion, how is it legal at all? It really is murder and just baffles my brain.

I am just stunned by this Dolly. I had no idea that sort of thing happens. I have never been in favor of abortion-except in those extreme circumstances where the mothers life might be in jeopardy.
I am appalled that this is just being accepted by anybody. How do those doctors sleep at night?
