January 3rd, 2009 Saturday

All year long, our little family has enjoyed the late 1 p.m. schedule of attending Sacrament Meeting. Tomorrow, we begin a whole new bright eyed and bushy-tailed moment-9 am. schedule. I know that my 4 year old will love this run-out-the-door moment-he's a morning guy like his dad. But for those kids who sleep a little longer like myself, we are in for a shocker.

I realize that this will be just like the weekdays of getting up and going to school. But we've all been on vacation for two weeks. Today for instance...I didn't get up till after ten a.m. I heard the kids next door drop by for a visit. I could hear one of the girls say, "Your mom's not up yet?!". So, I lifted my head up off the pillow and looked at the clock. Knowing that my hubby was downstairs watching t.v., I took my time getting up and starting the day's chores. Nothing much going on...

But...tomorrow morning-I will be racing around. I need to make a quick list of things to be done.
  • Make sure all church clothes are clean and ready to go
  • Line up shoes for going out the door
  • Set alarm clocks
  • Pack Sunday School bag with lesson manual & handouts
  • Put clean towels in the bathrooms and
  • think of what we'll eat for lunch/dinner when we return!
So with only eleven hours to get a jump start on this list...I'm off to organize :) Good Night!

Good luck! I just about died when we moved from UT to AZ and found out they start at 8:00 here!! That didn't seem legal. And then we had it for 2 1/2 years in a row thanks to changing buildings and wards being split!!

Just remember that good old Primary song..."Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday..." :)
