My Dream-Come-True Job

I've been working at Roberts Craft Store this month, and this really is my dream job. I already love to do crafts with kids... and make floral arrangements...but to have my boss say,"Here's a container-go fill it!!!" -is so incredible:) All I have to do is keep track of the tag's information to put a bill together. I've done Make & Takes for Presidents Day. (We made patriotic windsocks for children to take home-Free!) We'll be doing vinyl lettering for cards and banners next. I'll be demo-ing new Cricut cartridges and doing midnight cropping classes:) There are so many cool plans...I can hardly wait. (Scrapbooking is totally a blast!)

I've done custom orders and display floral arrangements. If there's a fantastic piece of pottery, I get to choose what flowers will fill it-ANYTHING!! Today, I added some artichokes and pomogranites to the tall vase of sunflowers and cats-tails...cool colors!

Here's some cool artichoke arrangements I've found here on the web...Go try putting one together. This is sooo much fun-♥ I love artichokes!

I knew you'd finally be working in a craft place! You could do amazing things with a piece of paper, some scissors, and tape when you were four! And the corsages you started making at the age of 10 were professional-level.

Love,

Mom
