I was up early this morning on Facebook (5 a.m.) and I started thinking about my wedding many years ago. Roland and I just celebrated our 22nd year of marriage this month. We've known each other for 25 years though, and every moments been a blessing to us both. As I begin to help my son, Casanova and his fiance', "Nicole" plan theirs out...I'm reminded of all that happened at my own wedding. My colors, the theme, and the special people that helped me plan the whole event. So many people sacrificed their time and talents to help us start a new life together. The photographer's camera didn't work-so the only pictures we have...are mug shots my little brother took!
This thought process made me open up my wedding album and start searching faces. I came across a picture of an old friend, Kathy. I decided to type her family name into Facebook-and up came her daughter's picture. Incredible!! We've reconnected and this cute little four year old, I use to babysit-is getting married next month. What were the chances? Was this luck or a moment in time we both will just never forget?! ♥Here's a picture of Maj (in red)-she helped me design my lace collar and my veil. She had a boutique and had wonderful ideas for my wedding. Way behind her-was Kathy (the blond in a trench coat). We were such great friends! I wish I had a better picture of her. But I was so happy she came to my reception. Thanks Kathy:) It's a huge blessing to find old friends.
