Map-It

Tonight, we went to watch Chabs practice soccer at one of the elementary schools here in town. Since the practice time was short...Starwars wanted to play on the playground. He was so excited to see a map on the black-top. We asked him to stand on a yellow spot-and we would tell him if this was HOME. Here he is yelling to us, "This is the place!". *This map was an Eagle Scout project, done by one of Nascar's good friends. Pretty cool, huh?!

There's something fun about maps and kids. My kids always loved the big huge world map at the Salt Lake City airport - they loved being able to see where we lived, where grandma and grandpa lived, where we vacationed last year. Who would have guessed!

We have one of these maps on our school play ground. My children and I love to each pick a color and see if we can make it across the states. We love to play on it.
