Gettin' Lazy about Bloggin!

So, I spend more time on Facebook now- than I do Blogging. I usually write once a week here, posting something fun...but I've been totally wrapped up in crafting, crocheting or cleaning. I even tried doing some baking
-everyday this week-some with my bread machine. I made cinnamon rolls, banana bread, whole wheat bread and rolls, meatball spaghetti, homemade chicken soup and tonight was Alfredo sauce over pasta! My kids are wondering who's coming to visit:) I just smile and say, "YOU-my kiddies!". It's so nice to slow down and only think about my family and friends. I did take some banana bread over to my neighbor. She drove my daughter to school when my car was too cold to drive. It had to thaw out! She came along at just the right moment:)

I also taught myself to make crocheted roses this week too. My Aunt Arlene made me a beautiful afghan-when
I graduated from highschool-(many moons ago). I have always wondered how to follow the pattern. Well, I just saw a video on You-tube, looked closely at my aunt's stitches...and I figured it out! Pretty cool stuff. Now I carry around a bag full of yarn like a little old grandma:) *Good practice for later!

I like your new family picture. I love it when the kids wonder why you are making goodies (for who???) and then are surprised when they get some too!

One day I will return to crocheting & cross stich, but that day is not here yet.
