As Sisters in Zion

My heart is very full tonight:) I was called and sustained today as a counselor in our ward Relief Society-with my husband and children by my side. Since we moved up here over the summer, I have not a had a chance to meet the sisters and learn names yet. I've been serving in Primary (my six yr. olds class)-and have been his teacher almost every year since he was in nursery. This is such a blessing to finally be able to hear the messages each Sunday with a group of women, that live all around us in my neighborhood. Most of us are in town-homes and apartments, so I can walk to everyone's place to visit them also. What a huge gift in our area! I've learned through out my life, it doesn't matter where you are-the message is still the same in every language: The Church is true! Just as this Youtube video shows us from around the world...As Sisters in Zion- we'll all work together.

Congrats on your calling. Being a counselor in RS was one of my favorites. It's awesome and challenging and rewarding. :) You will do great because even from Az I can tell you are such a sweet and wonderful woman! They are lucky to have you!

p.s. That song always makes me cry. It's one of my favorites.

Dolly you are going to have such a wonderful time in the Relief Society. I just got released as 1 st councilor a few months ago. I am now the Activity Day leader; which I love the girls are so sweet.
Enjoy the moments with the sisters.
I loved the video.
If you get a moment check out the video I have on Jonah and the Whale; it will bring a smile.
Blessings to you! LeAnn
