Utah Summer Plays
This is my first year as a volunteer for the Shakespearean plays downtown. Our little town is famous for hosting wonderful plays to watch during the summer months, and then clear till December. My favorite actor is Michael Sharon who played Sir Lancelot. He played Sir Lancelot in Camelot a few years ago-What a voice! I haven't seen him this year in any plays yet. There are two theaters here at SUU. The outdoor theater is on one side of the campus, and then there's the Randall Jones Theater on the other. When people volunteer for the outdoor plays, a costume is created for the ushers. In the other indoor plays, we wear maroon jackets over a white shirt and black skirt. I've been lucky to usher upstairs in the balcony. When I'm done seating people, I can sit and watch the play with the audience. So far, I seen Taming of the Shrew, School of Wives and Fiddler on the Roof. I'm so excited to the Gaslight-Mystery Theater next month. Thank you to my awesome friend, Jennifer for getting my name on the volunteer list. I have had a blast so far! If your ever in Southern Utah-stop by for the Festival!

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! MAN...I WISH I COULD BE THERE!!!!
I'm ashamed to admit that I live in Utah and have never been to the Shakespearean Festival. I really need to go because I hear it's incredible. I bet it's fun to usher.
You are so lucky, Doll!
I LOVE the Shakespearean festival. You're so lucky it's in your hometown! We saw that production of Camelot -- it was great!
