A Road Less Travelled

I went out running, walking, limping and then crawling up our hill this morning about four or five miles around town. I took some pictures along the way so that you'll know that I actually accomplished my goal and exercised for the day :) Okay... I'm running down the hill...What a great view, huh? Here is my kid's highschool-"Hi Dakota!"Here is the local D.I. (Deseret Industries)- Which is right next door to my old job: My Preschool- "Hello Kid Connection! -which is now a college kid's apartment... And next stop is around the corner...my favorite crafts store: "Roberts"...yay! Lets hope they need a new employee, any day now :) Fingers crossed..."I'm waiting for a phone call"...and then back around down towards the highschool again and UP the hill to my house...the road cuts to the right------->See that ridge going up the hill? Geuss what it's called? I call it, "The Long and Winding Road!" My legs are screaming already,"AHHHHH!"Here's the bridge that crosses the freeway...Looking down on all the little cars and lucky people that are traveling...I crawled into my driveway and up to my porch after a half hour of ridge road....Yahoo! I'm still alive and I made it back!!!! Tomorrow, I'll let ya' know if I can still walk!!!!

That is awesome, Dolly! And I LOVE that you photographed it! How cool! I feel like I was right there with you. And you know....I'm glad I got your message. I've been dropping by, just haven't commented. I've been feeling blah-y lately, and kinda lonely, too. I'm considering going to our local Hobby Lobby for a job in the framing department, to get discounts...and money....and human companionship!

you have got to feel so good about doing it, and if you are a bit sore, well your body will get used to it! WAY TO GO!!! I feel like I walked with you.
Do you think I have burned any calories??
