It's a Wonderful Life!

Christmas was so wonderful this month! We had my sister in-law and three of her four wonderful kids visiting. Her eldest is serving a mission in Baltimore and he's been out for almost six months now. We spoke with our Elder and they spoke on the phone to theirs too. Both are doing exceptionally well!

We had such an awesome visit...starting with a serious snow storm before they got here. So we had tons of snow. The kids had a blast in the snow, building snowmen and having snowball fights. Our husky pup was thrilled with the extra snow and company too. As soon as the kids let him off the chain...he ran to the front yard and marked his territory on the snowman they had built! "GUS!!!", they all screamed :)

Part of my fun time was finally going to see Twilight-(yahoo) I was hypnotized by the storyline and the characters. It was so cool to actually see what all the fuss was about. I did think the main characters were interesting and can't wait now to see the next movie.

My kids were spoiled by our wonderful neighbors playing Secret Santa. Some sweet family left us a box with a turkey dinner and all the fixings!!! We had potatoes, yams, oranges, and so much more. There was another Secret Santa who brought baskets with toys and gift cards too. Our family was stunned with the generous friends and family members. My parents gave my hubby and myself a gift certificate to a bed and breakfast here in town-♥ We'll probably use it for our anniversary in February. My dad dropped by and brought a new battery for our four-wheeler(Thanks Dad!) People came over and gave us money and treats for plowing their driveways. I felt like we were the family in It's a Wonderful Life! -friends helping us. Fantastic! We hope next year, we can do the same for someone else.
