Calgon Take Me Away!

With only a half an hour left in this Monday evening...I'll try and mention my day's activities really fast before I crawl into bed. This has been another whirl-wind day: Monday, Jan. 5th...

I woke up after having a dream that our family was over visiting Elder Cam in Switzerland. We spent most of our time trying to find him new shoes. In my dream, we then waved goodbye as we sailed away from some island he was on. After we landed on dry ground, I can remember taking care of a little baby with a messy diaper. I just couldn't get this baby clean enough!

I woke up from this dream standing next to my bed. I checked the time-it was six a.m. and I ran into my bathroom. I washed my hands over and over-even though, I knew that I had only had a dream. Somehow, I felt cleaner washing my hands. Funny and symbolic of my life right now.

I turned in a job application at the craft store and then when I got home, I listened to my 18 yr. old say he's getting married sometime this year-maybe around June. Her colors are silver and purple. My husband is speechless. We are still in shock-not sure what to think. Maybe I'll try and think tomorrow. Time to drift away again and dream of an island...

Hey Dolly!
Just catching up on your past weeks worth of posts. Boy, has your young man thrown you guys for a loop thi sweek!?
I guess all I can say is good luck. And I guess, try to remember Joseph Smiths words (something to this effect...) you teach them the right principles, and then let them govern themselves. Sometimes easier said than done though. All my best!

Wow. That is quite the shock. Well I wish you luck in dealing with this... I will definitely be calling you when I have problems... because I know I will... everyone does. It is just how you deal with them that matters. I obviously haven't dealt too well with some of mine... so hopefully I can watch you and others to be able to deal with my trials latter on... I love getting to know you through this. Good luck I will be praying for ya.

Oh, Dolly!! Wow. I hope that things work out with your son getting (or not getting) married. I'm sure that's got to be very hard on you all. I'm thinking about you!
