For my birthday dessert tonight-I made my Aunt Linda's Strawberry Pie (yum!) Here's the recipe:
Wash two boxes of strawberries |
De-stem and slice each batch |
Pour one batch in pan with 1 cup Sugar, 3 or 4 TBS of cornstarch, {Blend together} |
Stir all together and boil for one minute-continually stirring |
Pour second batch of fresh berries in pie crust {mine is graham cracker} |
Pour hot mixture over fresh berries-let chill for at least an hour in fridge |
Add whip-cream and slice! Happy Birthday to me:) Starwars says: YUM!!!♥ |

Since this was my first attempt at making this pie...I'd like to say the syrup was runny-but still delicious. My kids are freezing the rest...to see if it helps the mixture settle:)
looks easy enough!
That looks so good that I want to go get strawberries right now.
Thanks for sharing this.
Blessings to you! LeAnn
